Mrs. Martin’s training led to many professional opportunities including founding & directing the Thunder Girls – the professional dance team for the minor league basketball team of Southern Crescent Lighting, coaching the Junior Varsity Chiefettes Dance Team of McIntosh High School, choreographing for various music videos, and performing in corporate events, conventions, and talent showcases across the nation.  She has also trained and choreographed for the Starr’s Mill High School Pantherettes Dance Team for the past 12 years.  Under Nichole’s instruction, choreography, and technical training, the Pantherettes are 5-Time State Champions under the Georgia High School Association and have ranked nationally with the Universal Dance Association.  Throughout the past 12 years, Mrs. Martin has won several competitive awards for “Best Choreography” against dance teams across the nation.  In 2022, the Pantherettes were undefeated in both pom and jazz.

Nichole started teaching and choreographing at just 16 years old at Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts and taught all forms of dance for 22 seasons.  During the time, Mrs. Martin held many leadership positions including Hip Hop Director from 2002-2011, Marketing Assistant from 2012 – 2014, Marketing Director from 2015 – 2017, and Associate Director from 2018-2020.  During that time, she cultivated new dance programs including dance team prep, cheer dance, and musical theatre and grew the Contemporary Program at both locations with her innovative choreography and exciting leadership in the classroom.  Additionally, Mrs. Martin assisted in all productions of the academy and Georgia Dance Theatre from 2002 – 2020 including choreography, setting repertoire, music & lighting, rehearsals, theme creation, and more.  For 7 years, Nichole served on the Board of Directors for Georgia Dance Theatre where she led efforts in production, marketing, fundraising, sponsorship acquisitions, strategic planning, and grant writing.  In 2018-2021, Georgia Council for the Arts awarded over $40,000 to Georgia Dance Theatre via grants written by Mrs. Martin.

Outside of her dance life, Mrs. Martin founded Nichole Martin Marketing where she served clients across the nation in brand development, strategic planning, marketing, design, social media management, product design, website development & customization, advertising, and more.  With her creative theories and pursuit for success, Nichole has managed the multi-faceted growth of over 30 clients growing their individual revenue streams anywhere from $250,000 to multi-million dollar businesses.  In addition to the past 16 years of experience, Mrs. Martin holds a degree from Emory University with a double major in political science & psychology & a minor in marketing & advertising.
